What Moodify does
Moodify connects to Spotify to import music you choose, build mood-based queues, and control playback. Moodify is an independent service and is not endorsed by Spotify.
Data we process
With your permission, we process your Spotify identifier, display name, email address, saved tracks, accessible playlists, playback state, Moodify feedback, listening preferences, and limited operational logs required for reliability and security.
Why we process it
We use this data only to authenticate you, synchronize your selected Spotify library, generate and improve your queues, control playback, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the service. We do not sell personal data or use Spotify content to train a general-purpose AI model.
Security and retention
Spotify access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Application sessions use random opaque tokens; only their SHA-256 hashes are stored. Production traffic uses HTTPS. Data remains until you delete your Moodify account, revoke Spotify access, or retention is required for security or legal obligations.
Sharing
Data is handled by service providers needed to operate Moodify, currently Spotify, Vercel, and Supabase. Each provider processes data under its own terms. We do not share data for third-party advertising.
Your choices
You may disconnect Spotify at any time. You may permanently delete your Moodify account and associated imported data from Settings. You may also begin the deletion process from the public account-deletion page.
Contact
For privacy questions or rights requests, contact the Moodify owner through the support contact published on the Google Play listing. A dedicated support address will be added before public release.
